Why is sun wear important for the whole family?
We all love beautiful sunny days but need to remember that the sun has harmful ultraviolet rays that can damage your skin and eyes. Ultraviolet ray exposure can cause changes in the tissue on the front surface of your eyes and can increase the formation of cataracts. To reduce these effects along with other aging effects from the sun, we need to make sun protection a priority. It takes a long time for these changes to occur, so it is important to wear sun wear at a younger age. Also, most people don’t know that ultraviolet rays are still around on cloudy days.
For maximum protection and comfort, I recommend polarized sun wear. The polarization will help with glare from the streets and water if you’re on the lake. A larger frame with temples that block the sun is also helpful. Sunwear comes in many colors, but most are grey or brown lenses. Grey lenses cause the least amount of color distortion, but both are great for daily use.
